Welcome to my website, an idea I started in early 2007 after reading many columns and penultimately the book Now I Can Die in Peace by Bill Simmons of ESPN.

I will try to keep my columns fresh and upbeat, filled with laughter and my common sense take on what is going on in the world of sports.

I invite you to check back often as I plan to update as often as my schedule allows. To the left you'll see links to my columns and I invite you to offer your feedback as it would be greatly appreciated.

I'd also like to thank the following people: my mom and dad for their faith in me, Eric Howald for believing in me and teaching me and being a role model, my friends at Knox who read my stuff and offer advice and critiques, and God for giving me the opportunity to share my thoughts with you.

Andrew Ross

Andrew Ross is a senior at Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois.

His writing career began as a sophomore when he started writing for The Knox Student as a sports writer and columnist. It took off the summer after his sophomore year when he was hired by the Keizertimes to be the sportswriter for his hometown newspaper.

As you will soon find out, Andrew loves the Seattle Mariners and all sports in general.
